Fruit & Veggies + Turbo Jam?!

Question: Fruit & Veggies + Turbo Jam!?
Hi,
I am 22 and I weigh 218 lbs after having my daughter!. I want to lose the weight! I saw a commercial for Turbo jam and I wanted to know if its works and how long until I lose 60lbs!? Also, I m thinking of doing this and eating only fruita & veggies with 1 serving per week of protein, like tuna!. Does anyone know how either of these diets work!? and how fast!
ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Guccijen,

I have to agree with the first answer!. You are playing with fire if you follow the diet you listed in your question!. You actually will probably end up gaining weight if you follow that diet!.

While it is true you want to eat less calories then you burn during any specific day!. However if you fall that short in your caloric intake, your body will go into starvation mode and begin to store fat instead of burning it!.

Have a healthy breakfat, eggs and some whole wheat toast or a bowl of cereal, with some fruit!. Have a snack in between BF and Lunch (piece of fruit or protein shake), have a sandwich for lunch (turkey, chicken, tuna, etc!.!.!. on whole wheat bread w/lettuce, tomaton) and add a peice of fruit!. Have a snack in between lunch and dinner (raw nuts), have a healthy dinner (fish, steak chicken, with lots of veggies)!. Have a small snack before bed, nothing with carbs in it!. I usually have a protein shake before bed, fills me up and give the muscles what it needs to heal while I am sleeping!.

Hope this helps,

You should know better!. You need a balanced diet, and having only one portion of protein a week is insane, and counterproductive as protein actually is low in calories and keeps you full!. You should be having a balanced diet, just less of it!. For example, oatmeal or branflakes and half fat milk with fruit for breakfast, a sandwich on wholemeal bread with ham, tuna or chicken salad for lunch, and grilled chicken/fish/tofu for dinner with large serving of vegetables and a yoghurt!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
