I think it's a personal choice!.!.!. but, if you are lifting heavy and then decide to do cardio, then you've already exerted energy and you may not perform your activity (running/cycling etc) as well!. So, cardio or lifting first or last should depend on what activity you plan on doing!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

30 min low intensity cardio after workout!. Growth hormone levels stay high for 60min following resistance training exercise, so theres no need to worry about catabolism!. Once anything is consumed catabolic affects stop!. I personally think this whole issue is highly over rated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The normal:

1!. 10 - 15 minutes of cardio to warm up
2!. Lift weights
3!. More cardio, if you wanted to go more than just the 10 - 15 minute warm-up in the beginning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah when i played football in high school our coach would make us run a mile and do a couple sets of stairs then go work out in the weigth room but thats for football but applies to any type of conditioningWww@Answer-Health@Com

Cardio first to warm-up your muscles and then weights afterwards to work the muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Physiologically, it doesn't make any difference, so what ever feels better for you is the best way to go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
