Healthy eating WITHOUT calorie counting......?!

Question:

Healthy eating WITHOUT calorie counting......?

I started to live a more healthier lifestyle for the past 3 wks. So far I am doing well- eating the right foods and exercising regularly. The only problem I have is counting those darn calories. Is there an easier way?

For instance, I had tuna wrap on whole wheat bread (tomatoe, lettuce, onion inside)- how many calories is this? plus I only ate half and plan on eating the other half 2 hrs later.

Please advise- thanks

Answers:

Counting calories is difficult and time-consuming, and "calories in" is only one half of the weight loss equation. WeightWare takes a different approach, made possible by the development of accurate digital scales and advanced statistical analysis. Instead of having to record the calorie content of every meal and snack, you only need to weigh yourself once every day or so, and record your weight in WeightWare. It takes less than a minute, and you get instant feedback from WeightWare telling you exactly how well you are doing.

I listed a few websites that may be able to help you out.
Me personally I don't count calories but I do watch what I eat now that I am older.
At my job I am required to sit for 8 hours, but on other day I do alot of lifting and moving around, I start my day with Special K for breakfast, sometime for lunch, with 2% milk, if I dont have that for lunch I like to have a veggie or fruit salad, and for dinner I'll have baked chicken or fish with green vegetables, also I drink as much water as possible. this helps to curve my hunger.
I tried the Lemon/Pepper Diet for about 2 weeks but I don't if you'd want to do that, if you email me I can tell you all about it. Just eat healthy and exercise. I you dont want to go to a gym or run in your neighborhood, put on your favorite mix CD and dance to it for about 30-45 minutes (keep water near).
Whenever I want something sweet I usually buy a smoothie or have something like sherbert ice cream! (Mmm, Deelish!)
I hope this was helpful!
