Hydroxy cut question?!

Question: Hydroxy cut question!?
My son,17 yrs old,was taking hydroxycut, against my wishes and after 1 week, was so hyper and outta control and then hit a kid out of pure agression, not like him at all!

He ended up after two weeks of taking it in the hospital for three days,it almost killed him,and the store,GNC,claims it is safe for kids his age and that it is legal to sell it to them, but it turned him one minute into a crazy off the wall hyper kid, then into an aggressive mad kid the next week, then put him in the hospital!.

Do you think they should be allowed to sell it to kids!?

Did anyone ever use it!?

Have any side effects!?
He does not take it anymore, and will never use it again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
diet pills are chock full of stimulants that increase your heart heart and your blood pressure!. They are labeled herbal supplements and not a drug therefore they do not have to be approved by the FDA!. Most people working at GNC etc!.!.!. have no clue about supplements!. Their knowledge is based on advertisements and marketing publications not education!. Diet pills are not safe for anyone because they have not been tested like other medications that are on our shelves!. The other issue is that we each have a different body chemistry and medications effect us differently!. It is possible for someone to have a bad reaction to tylenol!. Please, do not let your son take these pills to cut weight or to look ripped!. The models that are shown put on weight on purpose and then cut weight, even dehydrating themselves to look "cut" for the add!. If you aren't sure don't take it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Honestly, I find it hard to believe that hydroxycut did this!. The product for the most part is pure crap anyways!. The main upper in it is caffeine!. Your kid probably drinks that much caffeine in other ways!.

Hydroxycut has no effect whatsoever on testosterone, which is the main aggressor in males!.

I would really question the kid regarding steroid use, since this seems to be in play!. It is not uncommon for someone that doesn't know what they are doing in bodybuilding to take some crap product like hydroxycut and mix it with a cutting steroid!. Even if steroids are not in play, I can guarantee that something is in play other than just the hydroxycut!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

my friend took that diet pill!. she was hospitalized a few times and is barely recovering from anorexia!. You were right to advise your son against it and I totally think it should be taken off the shelves!. it is dangerous, especially if overused and/or used in conjunction with any other caffine or stimulants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is unscrupulous of anyone to say something that is marketed for the 18 and older group (such as Hydroxy cut) to say is safe for anyone under the age of 18, when even the manufacturer says so on the label!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok i take hydroxy cut hardcore, and have no similar side effects, but I burn off that extra energy!.!.!. if I take it then decided not to go to the gym I get a little anxious!. I'm not a doctor, but I spend alot of time researching things before I put them in my body!. Could he possible be biapolar, hydroxycut can "enhance" it, and amplify his moods!. Other people have talked about not being able to focus properly when on hydroxycut, I would say ABSOLUTLY no for a child, he has school, stress and much of that in his life!. 1 pill= 4 cups of coffee thats the walmart kind, if hes buying it at GNC as I am!.!.!. then it is more potent!.!.!. my husband who works out everyday for 3 hours takes 1 pill, and its enough for him!. Hes probably following the directions, which is too much!. Don't let him take itWww@Answer-Health@Com
