Question: What food contain fiber!? And Other healthy snacks!?
Hello i want to start eating healthy and lose weight, and a lot of people say to eat more fiber!. What are some foods (as many as you can think of) Contain fiber!?

Also what are some good healthy maybe low fat snacks that I can snack on between meals!? Please list the exact names not just nuts etc!.

hey melissa, we have the same name!.!.!.btw, good for you that you wanna start eating healthy! Foods rich in fibers are in all vegetables (particularly broccoli, green beans, cauliflower, celery, zucchini and carrots), all fruits (particularly prunes, pears, plums and berries), fruit juices, legumes like lentils, peas, soybeans and other beans, oats, rye, barley, root veggies like potatoes, sweet potatoes and onions, whole grain foods, oat bran, nuts and seeds, wheat bran and rolled oats!. You can have any of these foods as snacks as they're really healthy and nutritious! I normally snack on apples, a handful of almonds, crispbread with cottage cheese, natural yogurt, orange, celery, baby carrots and kiwi fruit!. Just remember that consuming more of vegetables and fruits are healthy for you, good luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

HEY okay food with fibers: whole wheat bread, oatmeal, fruit like apples, vegetables to a limit as there are not many kcal in them, brown rice, wheat pasta etc!. If you are on a low carb diet, just make sure that most of the carbs you do actually get contain some sort of fibers in them!. You can even see on the label, if that specific food product contains fibers!. nuts or protein doesn't really contain fibers but will however make you feel full!. So a good snack would be either some sort of fruit combined with some protein of some kind!. (ex!. apple with peanut butter,not everyone likes that, i know, but hopefully you get the point)!. Don't cut fat of your diet, just reduce the amount, if you tend to eat food containing alot of fat!. If you don't, well then just make sure you eat the "good" fat (unsaturated)!. 1} Twice on day ,eat a fruit with skin{ especially apple}, it's healthy and low-calories!.
2}You get enough fiber
And yet a good " side effect",it prevents colon cancer!.

if u wana lose weight firstly eat protien and exercise regularly as this will make u more fit and strongerand energetic!. protien is in nuts(lol), fish, eggs and errr many more oh yeh have plenty of water to tone ur body

i would like to recommend that you take ten minutes every day to get down on your knees and pray!. ask the lord to take your fat, turn it to wisdom and give it back!.
