- and is something wrong with me? i eat a little, and i feel, full.

Answers:

Any kind of excercise that works the legs - wether it's walking, jogging, or dancing, will make your muscles larger. I walk 3 miles a day and dance for 1-2 hours, my leg muscles are pretty big. Sometimes I hate them. But you know what? In PE when I'm in shorts the other girls say they wish they had my legs. In today's generation where people are sedentary they often have flabby chicken legs. Um, I'd rather stick with what I've got. So what if that means being a size 7 pants instead of a 4?

A BMI below 19 or so is underweight, yes. It is a rough estimation of bodyfat. For girls, bodyfat should be anywhere from 19-24 percent for fitness. BMI should be about the same. If you honestly do not look underweight you might be naturally thin, talk to your doctor.

Of course you eat more if you have a fast metabolism! Body size depends on bone structure, muscle, etc, not on metabolism. I am a big muscular girl and have a very high metabolism. Some of my 90 pound friends barely eat anything but they just have a slow metabolism. And on the other end of the spectrum some skinny girls can outeat anyone (think about the 105 pound girls who enter hot dog eating contests!) and some big girls can live on carrot sticks and still weigh 150 pounds.

If you eat little and feel full you may just have a slow metabolism, a small stomach, or whatever. Eat a healthy diet with food from all the food groups. There is nothing wrong with you unless you are limiting your nutrients or have a body image complex with food. Buy vitamins to make sure you are still adequately nourished with the little food you eat.
