Toning up with Pilate's???
I was just wondering as far as toning your body, (especiallly around your hips) how good of a job Pilates can do for you?
And how often should you do it? :)

Your Lara Hudson video is not going to give you the kind of toning results you're expecting without personalized attention. I have big hips and attend Pilates classes every week. Pilates really does help because the exercises narrow in on particular muscles - muscles you didn't know you had - and gives you an intensive, focussed workout on those areas. There is no doubt pilates will help you tone up anywhere, and although pilates videos give you good exercises to practise with, you still should try and attend a class here and there because an instructor has to show you how to do those moves properly so they can be effective. Trust me, pilates is not an 'intuitive' exercise where you can just copy the person on the screen, there is a proper way of holding your body etc.
Try three times a week, and build up to every morning - I think thats ideal.
