What is considered a carb?!


Question: What is considered a carb!?
Hey there, so ir ecently went to the doctor, i've found out i am a few pounds over weight, and so i'm going to go on a no carb/low carb diet, how do I do this exactly!? What is a carb!? Or considered it, i know bread, pasta, and rice, but what else!? HElp!?

and what am i supposed to eat on a low carb diet!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You read the label and check for the amount of carbs per serving - but also, check for the amount of fat per serving!. Anything over 6g in fat is too much, and the lower the carbohydrate the better!. But, don't do a no carb diet, because the body will refuse to metabolize carbs once you go back to a fairly normal eating habit!. Rather go about it by adding enough fruits and eat pleanty of vegetables!.
A carbohydrate is basically one unit of what the body uses for energy!. There are complex carbs like in potatoes and rice, and there are simple carbs like in sugar!. Stay away from simple carbs and limit the compleax carbohydrates!. When you eat, keep track of how much you eat per day and how many carbs that has---you do not want to go over 40 carbs a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First if your drinking soda, or anything but water (yes juice can be bad to) in excess then stop! Drink plenty of water periodically throughout the day!. I would suggest exercise to instead of diet only!. Don't have high starch or high fat food!. Eat plenty of veggies and fruits, and chicken and tuna is pretty low in fat!. Don't use a lot of butter or oil when cooking though!. If you want to eat meat I suggest going vegetarian, they have plenty of "fake meats" that are tastey and much less fattening than the real thing!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Lots of good answers!. If you really want to watch carbs, consider dietary changes like diabetics use!. It's a really healthy way to eat!. Combined with exercise, you'll lose weight safely!. In fact, you'll learn a new way to eat and won't regain the weight!.

Well, carbs give you energy for the day!.
Eating a low carb diet!.!.!.!.!.!. lets just say you'll feel tired!.
If you eat a low carb diet, all you'll be able to eat is veggies and nuts and chicken
I don't think you need to go on a low carb diet, just eat healthy carbs (beans, whole grains, fruits, carrots, etc!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

A carb, or carbohydrate, is the most common energy source in food!. Carbs include foods made up of starches, sugar, or fiber!. Most carbs break down into glucose which is a certain type of sugar!. A meal should not have more then 15-20 carbs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

read the labels on the food you are eating!.!.!.!.potatoes have alot of carbs!. meat is good!.!.!.cheese also good!. maybe you can call your doctor and he can give you a list of do's and don'ts of food for your new diet!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
