Stuck at 160 for 2 mths now......please suggestions will be appreciated....?

I HAVE cheated and understand that I have kept this weight on because of drinking. I originally lost 22 pounds I use to be at 182....I got back on my excercise and food regimen this week and just need a jumpstart advice on what to do please. I drink lots of water ALL day long trust me I pee about 10x's a day. For breakfast I eat a fruit then workout after im done i eat egg whites for protein. .tuna sandwich and yogurt for lunch....usually for a midafternoon snack another fruit and cottage cheese...then dinner chicken breast with salad....what am i doing wrong......make excercise is 4-5 times a week cardio for about 45-60 minutes...............please thanks!


Answers:

With keeping your calories the same amount as they are now you could eat more meals than you currently do. Break up your meals and eat 6 to 8 times per day instead of what i counted out of your meal plan as only 5. Treat your body like a furnace and keep throwing fuel onto the fire. That will naturally speed up your metabolism without having to cut your calories any further. If you are not currently lifting weights ( i know it sounds crazy) you should try 3 total body workouts 3 times per week because having more muscle mass can burn more calories and fat. Your body continues to burn fat after you lift weights. When you do cardio when you stop the calorie burning also stops. So it is great to mix the two. Also keep in mind that after dinner you should stop eating carbs. And your last snack should be cottage cheese because of the casein protein that breaks down slowly while you sleep. While lifting weights keep your reps 15-20 and you will lean up and not gain any mass. I hope this helps and good luck.
