Question: I need a list of foods with little or no protein!. I do not want diets!. Can anyone help me!?
My wife has kidney failure and wants a list of foods!. All I can find is low protein DIETS!. If we find the foods, we can make her own dietWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Fruits and most vegetables have little or no protein (lettuce, cucumbers, water chestnuts, alfalfa sprouts, carrots, leaf vegetables)!. There are some exceptions to this like peas, beans (both can be rather high) and some starchy vegetables (like potatoes and corn which are in the medium range)!.
Starches such as breads (sour dough or rye), cereals, and pasta (the protein in these foods is of poorer but still good quality)!.
Non-dairy creamer can be used as a substitute for milk!.

Because this is a health condition I would not trust me or any other person who isn't a license physicial to fill you in on that kind of info, call your family practitioners office and most likely they can send you a list, tell you some foods, or where to go to find it!. Good luck and I'm sorry about your wife!Www@Answer-Health@Com
