Protein will help curb sugar and carb cravings!. I see that you say that you are making sure that you are getting fruit and vegetables in your diet, however you don't mention protein!.

Protein can help keep you full longer and maintains a steady blood sugar level which levels energy through the day!. Personally I think that you are feeding the cravings by eating fruit as fruit contains natural sugar and raises blood sugar like eating candy!.

If you were to stay away from fruit and stick to a high protein, low carb diet for even 4 -5 days, it will probably make your sugar cravings go away!. Because even high carb foods like white breads and potatoes contain natural sugar too!.

Also a lot of it has to do with what you are thinking!. If you continue to think about not being able to eat what you like it is natural for you to want and need it that much more!. The trick is to find something other than food to think about!. Read a book, listen to music, meditate, take a bath, if you have a hobby; try doing that!. Anything that will keep your mind off of food will help you!. Write down the advantages of losing the weight will be!. Cut pictures out of magazines of thinner people that you would like to look like and put them on your mirror and your fridge to remind yourself what the real goal is!.

Last but not least, remember that you are not unable to eat those foods forever!. Once you get to the weight you would like to be, you will be able to treat yourself occasionally to something that you really like and isn't that good for you as long as it is in moderation and not an everyday thing!.

I hope this helps!

Well first, DO NOT tell yourself that you cannot have any sugar!. Try eating less first off!. If you love milkey ways only eat a miniature one instead of your full one or king size that you may be used too!. I love sweets too so I have all the experience!. I am now on weight watchers and they have a lot of REALLY good desserts and snacks that are low calorie or sugar substitute!. I would check into a weight watchers meeting and find out what it's about!. I've already lost weight and its easy! They are really supportive and great about giving you ideas to get more physically active and work out, or even get active without even knowing you are doing any more work than usual and they have great great food plan!Www@Answer-Health@Com
