O.K. I start my gym membership Monday?

whats some good exercises for a 36yr old who hasn't been to active for awhile & doesn't want to burn-out & quit any suggestions are appreciated


Answers:

You really need to start SLOW. That is the best way to stick to your workout routine. I would personally start with just plain old walking. If you feel like doing more, add some light weights and do less than you think you should do at first, and only do 1 set. The reason to do this, is because you don't want to be too sore that you give up and quit. You want this to be a life long thing you stick to right? Then start almost too easy...and then go up from there. Don't let yourself get sore the first week. Remember to stretch, and write down your workout so you can see your progress...another thing to see and it will keep you going and happy!
