is it possible to loose weight with little exercise and very little calorie intake

Ok, forget what these people just said!. Im a part time Nutritional Dietitian in my area, and i know just about evertything there is to know about losing weight and keeping it off!.

1> A diet with 400 calorie minimums and 600 calorie maximums can cause you to lose about 5 maybe 10 pounds in a week!. I peronally have tried out this method and lost 10 pounds in 8 days!. Of course, being in my expertise I did use this in combination with some of my own diet methods!. (disclaimer, go into this gradualy, decrease your calorie intake to thi goal in the elaped time of a week to really get going, becase without gradual intake variations, your body could go into shock, and your metabolim will suffer)

2>Drinking lots of water not only keeps your body hydrated in this low calorie state, but also allows your stomach to fill up without taking in any calorie, you have no idea how beneficiary this is to your health!.

3> Take a multivitamin every day!. Please, I beg you!. Low calorie diet can lead to a deficiency in nutrients!. Please take a multivitamin every day to assure your internal prosceses are working properly, or you wont lose much weight at all!.

4> Keep track of everything you eat!. Go to Fitday!.com And write down everything you eat!. You can keep track of intake, a well ha how much you've progressed over time!. It helped me so much!. Try it!

I peronally have done this diet and highly reccomend it!. I was once overweight by 50 pounds (200) and dropped to 160 in as little a 3 months!. I also discovered that i felt healthier on this diet than my usual eating!. Good Luck! I wish you the most in your goal

If you only eat 200 to 600 calories a day plus water, you will probably not find much weight loss!. When you eat less than 1,000-1,200 calories a day, your body goes into something called "starvation mode" and it stores everything you eat as fat cells and stores a lot of water as extra weight!.

If you want to lose weight healthily, your best bet (I've been doing this for about 3 weeks and have lost 14 pounds) is to exercise regularly (even if you just go for a walk) and eat HEALTHY foods!. I eat about 1,000 calories a day but i do not count vegetables!. If you do this, you should stop drinking caloric drinks and try to make easy healthy choices like substituting regular sandwich bread with sara lee's 45 cal bread!. Its all about making wise choices everyday!.

Technically yes, but it's also a lot easier to gain it back if you try to lose weight in such a short time!. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, it's better to develop a new diet that you can stick to and doing a little more exercise!. But if you want a quick fix or you have the will power to work at keeping the weight off, it's certainly possible, just not very healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OMG, no way not 600, you need way more, maybe at the least 1700, but I may be wrong, talk to your doctor about these things, dont start your own diet, especially one like that!. Whats wrong with exercising, you might wanna try it, Truth is no matter what you need both be fit and in good weight!. Not just one extreme thing!. And 600 calories per day is dangerous, you know how fast you will be depleted of energy!?!!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

your body needs at least 1200 cal!. intake or it will not work right!. thats means u will not lose any weight!. eat 1200 cals!. and work out 1-2 times a day for 20-45 mins!. do it 5-6times a week and u will lose weightWww@Answer-Health@Com

With that type of eating you will gain weight before you lose it!. Your body starts a starving process and stores fat!. After you burn all the fat you burn your muscles and then your body fails to support your organs and feeds on your organs, causing organ failures, strokes, heart attacks, due to the lack of nutrition in your body!. To not kill yourself or put your body through a painful process!.

Eat right and exercise!. You should eat 5 small meals a day, each meal being 300-400 calories (that will equal 1500-2000 calories a day) helping you keep weight off and boosting your metabolism!. Drink a lot of water and for exercise if you dont want to workout much, 30 mins of walking or light jogging can help you keep the weight off and burn some calories!. This will be a much nicer way to stay small and healthy!.

Im sorry but now your just fishing for excuses!. What your doing is unhealthy if you want to eat 200 calories a day which is technically 1 very tiny meal like a banana with peanut butter, go ahead!. The people here are giving you true facts, your body goes into starvation mode, your body is suffing with MALNUTRITION you dont need to be a doctor to know that!. Let alone your organs, muscles and fat will be stored, eaten and will cause death!. Keep it up your on the ultimate mission of def losing weight you'll be a sack of skin!.

We know the body goes into starvation mode at approximately 600 to 700 calories per day!. What this means is the body stops using stored fat and begins to use vital organ tissue!. In this example, you would be operating at -700 calories!. This is referred as hyper-starvation mode!.

yes its def possible you dont even have to go that low on your calorie intake you can lose weight easily with 700 calories a day i lost 50 pounds this way with no exercise!. However, its not a very good way to go about losing weight!. i sound pretty hipocriticatical but i didnt realize it was so unhealthy until after i did it!. i used to play alot of sports and i was not like super muscely or anything but i was toned i guess you could say and then i stopped playing sports all together because i got a job and i kept eating the same amount of calories so before long i was pretty chubby lol so i went on a diet of 700 calories a day and did not exercise well now i have very little muscle its actually kind of pathetic and its because when i was losing weight i did not exercise at all and because i was eating so little my body went into starvation mode even though i wasnt i hungry my body was so since it wasnt getting enough energy and stuff just for everyday activities from my food intake it took it from my muscles!. So anyway if you go about losing weight this way your going to lose alot of muscle and strength like it wont like make you bed ridden or anything like that, but you wont be like as strong as a typical person, but it doesnt really affect the way you live or anything!. and not only this but there are alot of health risks from eating so little look at this:
