My Workout and My Trying To Gain Weight Problem?!

Question: My Workout and My Trying To Gain Weight Problem!?
I'm trying to gain 20 pounds over 12 weeks but if I keep working out I won't gain anything and I don't think I'm getting any muscle cuz I don't think I have enough fat!.

My Workout Is:
Light to Moderate Jog for 15min!.
25 to 30 crunches 2-3 sets
20 to 25 push-ups 2 sets
Lifting 10 Pound Weights on Both Arms 25 to 30 Times 2 sets
1 min!. Wall Sit 1 set

so what do you think should I stop my entire workout so I can gain weight than turn into muscle
or
should i lessen my workout so I keep the strength I have now and gain weight if you picked this one tell me how much I should take off my workout and don't say a longer jog cuz that would make me lose even more weight!.

Thanks in Advance

Some of the advice that people have given you is good but mostly it the same stuff that has been repeated over and over again in exercise magazines, most of which you can find for free if you search on the internet hard enough!. My advice is to eat and eat and eat!. Bodybuilding is a full time occupation, it takes time!. I drink 5 litres of milk, about 4,000 calories with 200 grams of protein just from the milk alone!. On top of that I have 10 eggs, chicken and veggies!. I personally don't think that is very healthy in the long run but I will only be sticking to this dieting program during my bulking up phase which will last no longer than 7 months!. But it works!. You see as I understand it, the muscle that is developed comes from the protein you eat - if you eat 300 grams of protein per day, a a proportion of that will be turned into muscle!. So by my reckoning you will probably, for arguments sake, increase your muscle mass by 50mg to 100mg in one day!. Secondly you need a lot of carbs - the body needs to energy to break down the protein, which is made of long chains of amino acids!. Energy is delivered by your carbs!. If you fail to eat enough then the body has no alternative but to break down protein just to supply your a sufficient amount of energy!. This alternative route is inefficient and not good for bodybuilding!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Seems like maybe you could use some protein shakes or something with a lot of protein in it!. Protein helps muscles develop and grow stronger!. Eat more steak or leafy green veggies (they have plenty of this)!. Your workout seems perfectly fine!.!.it's good that you cut back on the major weight losing exercises!. Also, try drinking plenty of milk!.!.!.the milk aids in not only helping you lead a healthy lifestyle, but it also aids in creating nice, lean muscle!.!.!.not to mention strong, healthy bones!. Good luck with your weight gain!Www@Answer-Health@Com

your work out will not bulk you it, it will get you nice and lean, with abs!. you may be stronger but you wont look it, and there wont be a weight difference!. To gain those big muscles and put on weight you have to lift heavy weights, and increase them periodically!. Its not complicated but it is hard work!. good luck!

p!.s!. take note of the above comment protein is also important in bulking up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't necessarily need to have fat to gain muscle!.!.!. just get enough protein into your system!.

How:
Drink lots of milk and maybe take a protein shake
Eat meat, eggs, rice, and etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

do a high weight low rep workout and drink protein before and after working out Fat doesn't turn into muscle nor help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all I want to clear up this huge misconception you have, FAT DOES NOT TURN INTO MUSCLE!.

Think about it, would lifting weights change the chemical properties of fat into muscle!? No!. Every bodybuilder knows that fat doesn't turn into muscle, and you should try and get rid of fat, and only keep a healthy amount!.

How do you gain weight!? By eating tons of McDonalds, and getting loads of fat which will take until you are 30 to burn off, OR by working out (muscle weight), and eating healthy (healthy foods will gain you weight, but unlike fatty foods they will not make you hideously fat), and not overeating (if you over eat you will gain weight, but weight in fat, not the type you want!.)

Eating too much adds more calories, and eventually the fat from these calories adds up, and you get fat!. Eat until you are full to prevent this!. Eating fatty foods gains you weight in fat, which will look horrible!.

I don't know if you knew this before, but muscle weighs more than fat, and working out gains you muscle, which ADDS a lot of weight!. Eating healthy along with this will add more healthy weight, especially from protein consumption!.

I guess your workout is decent, but if you are doing it everyday that is wrong!.

For now what you can do is eat really healthy, 8-10 cups of water a day, one gram of protein per pound of your weight!.

Protein can be acquired through protein shakes a bit more quickly than most foods, meat, and egg whites are good as well!.

Sleep 7-8 hours a day at least!.

Finally, most importantly, work out!. Work out everyday using weights, but workout DIFFERENT muscles on alternative days!.

For example:

Monday-Biceps, triceps
Tuesday-Chest, shoulders
Wednesday-Legs
Thursday-Biceps, triceps
Friday-Chest, shoulders
Saturday-Legs
Sunday-Biceps, triceps

Do heavy weights, and low reps, this means use heavy weights that you can only lift about 8-15 times!. Do this once, then rest a minute (put the weights down an relax), then lift again, then rest a minute, then lift again!.

A good workout should take about half an hour to one hour, make sure you don't just do one type of exercise for each muscle, do multiple exercises for each muscle!.

For example, for biceps don't just do bicep curls with 3 sets of 15, do hammer curls after that with 3 sets of 15 also, the move on to the next muscle!.

Also, if you are not feeling a burn in your chest while working out, it's ok, trust me, it's working out!. Just saying that because it's a common thing bodybuilders experience!.

A really great website for exercises for muscles, and how to do them properly is:

http://www!.bodybuilding!.com/fun/exercise!.!.!.

This program I just designed for you will both gain you much more strength, and increase your weight from muscle!. In 12 weeks!? Probably not, the only way to do that is steroids, or eating ONLY McDonalds for 12 weeks, of course all that will get you is fat!.

And as explained before YOU CANNOT WORKOUT FAT INTO MUSCLE!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
