What are healthy foods?!


Question: What are healthy foods!?
im trying to loose 10 pounds
im going to the gym twice a week and running 2 - 4 miles
what foods should i eat to lose 10 pounds by the summer!?

oh and i dont wanna be anorexic so please healthy foods but im not starving myself :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's gonna end up with a large list since so many foods out there are actually healthy but people tend to avoid it :)

I say stock up on the carbs, don't stay away from them!. Carbs and proteins are definitely your best choice, because carbs provide more energy so you don't have to eat lots of little simple sugars to fill its place!.
So as long as you keep up that routine of going to the gym and running weekly, you should be fine!.
Here are some suggestions: low-fat yogurt, a nice warm plate of pasta X] , orange juice (medium or high pulp), a variety of rices (especially packaged ones like Ricearoni), FISH, nothing trans fatty for sure (its the worst fat for your health), non-sugary cereal (well I always keep a box or two, anyway ;D), some good old waffles but with low-sugar syrup!. Lean chicken, lots of vegetables and any kinds of fruit are excellent!. Avocados, watermelon, corn, broccoli, spinach and celery are fine examples!.
Some garden salad with no or low-calorie dressing, frozen yogurt!. (ahh! can't get enough of that ;)
There are tons of more foods I could list, but you'll probably get lots of more answers!.

Any of your favorite desserts are fine, they aren't going to add any weight to you!. Not unless you suddenly become inactive!. I mean, I'm a generally inactive person on my own time, and I eat a good amount of food without gaining much!. But I guess it all depends on the person!.

Well, let's see!.!.!.!.You can start with low calorie proteins, whole grains, at least 5 servings a day of fruits and vegetables, milk or soy products 2-3 cupfuls a day and sweets in moderation!.!.!.!.That will take you a long way to lowering your weight!.
