Is biking a good weigh to start to lose some weight?

Hii there, so I recently bought a bike, and I am going to start riding a few miles every day, along with doing walk away the pounds in the after noon, I am sticking to a healthy diet, Fruits, Veggies, Calcium, all that good stuff, no junk food. So is this going to help me start losing some of the weight?

Great!!! my sister lose a good 15kg by just riding her bike every morning for a few months. She looks great now. The best thing about using your bike for exercise is its great for toning up legs and thighs as well as burning of those calories.
