Question: My diet is no longer working!?
i have been on a diet since 4/1/08 and lost about 20 pounds, but my diet is not working anymore i have been at the same weight for about 3 weeeks now and im tired of it!. i want to lose 20 more pounds !.is there a diet pill i can take that will help me out !.please give me some advice!?!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are doing great, and there is no reason you need to start taking diet pills!. You have simply reached your first "plateau"!. This is the first time you stop losing weight and it is the most likely period of time where people quit their diets!.

You can and will lose more weight, but what you need to do to work through this period is intensify your efforts!. Add extra time and effort to your workout, alter your diet (keeping it healthy) and cut another 100-200 calories from it!.

Keep in mind that the body adapts constantly!. If you've been on a lower calorie diet for a while!.!.the body doesn't realize this at first and over compensates but over a short course of time will slow down the metabolism to compensate for the lower calorie intake!. The body realizes that it's burning "more" than it needs to!.
Are you including any type of workout routine with this diet!? Various types of cardio workouts can be great for losing those extra "stubborn" pounds of fat!. I would strongly recommend looking into "HIIT" style of cardio!. Umm!.!.!.!.!.I don't know how big you were to begin with, but if you only need to lose another 20, you can't have been huge!. That means you were losing too much weight when you lose 20 in a month, and that's probably why you've hit a plateau!. Any diet that would cause someone your size to lose more than 5-10 pounds in a month is a bad one, and you body will eventually react accordingly!. Put yourself on a NORMAL healthy diet, no less than 1500 calories/day, and exercise (cardio mostly) for 30-60 minutes at a time 4-5 days per week!.

Don't ever take diet pills!. Most of them don't work in the slightest, and those that do remove weight quickly really only dehydrate you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you have lost 20 pounds since April 1 and you have not lost any weight in 3 weeks You are not eating enough, You need to eat atleast 1500 calories aday!. It sounds like your body is hanging on to everything you eat, Try eating more and I bet you will start losing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is where you have to up your game - look at every espect of your diet, like portion control, reducing snacks, ect

also look at your excersise maybe you need to excersise for longer, or start doing some

You canNOT consistently loose weight through dieting, because your body will automatically adjust to prevent that!
