Wow...120 or 110? Umm...I'm not that small. My sisters and my mom are smaller, I mean thinner, but I have a different body type according to my mom. I guess it's hard to find the motivation to work out. :)

Btw, I probably sound really shallow and I shouldn't be that way, but it's hard.

I don't think I'm going to pick a best answer yet but, xdarklight94x I like your answer. You are right. The guy that I might like isn't shallow like that. Thanks! I guess I shouldn't be so shallow either. :)

Answers:

Average weight for a girl 5'5" would be anywhere between 120 and 140 pounds, depending upon her body type.

I think what guys think varies from guy to guy. I know that my husband did NOT like it when I got, in his words, "too skinny". I am 5'6" and weighed about 116 at the time. To keep him happy, I put on about 8 pounds, and he is happy again (which makes me happy!) :-) I have weighed as much as 145-150 and no one would have called me fat. But I felt unhealthy at that weight.

It is easier to be skinnier at a younger age. When you get older, you just start to look drawn and kind of sick.

A really fit, young woman of 5'5" could look rockin' at 130-140 pounds.

I have heard more guys talk about liking girls with a little meat on their bones. I know some like to talk in a derogatory way about women they perceive as "fat," but I have never heard a guy rave about a woman/girl who is skeletally thin.
