How are these foods as far as health?!

Question: How are these foods as far as health!?
I have been changing my diet, and for the most part the huge increase in vegetables and the drop in red meat, along with exercise, seems to be working pretty well!. I've lost 20 lbs!. in 2 months!.

But I want to make sure that these foods are okay, or if I could lose more weight or be healthier if I dropped them also!.

Mostly its peanut butter, strawberry preserves, grape juice (light), and hot sauce!.

I'm wondering if there is too much sugar and fat in peanut butter or too much sugar in preserves!?

I'm also wondering if Splenda (the sugar substitute) they are using to keep the grape juice sweet even without sugar is healthy, or is it like that whole Sweet N' Low thing with the cancer!?

And is there too much sodium in hot sauce or is the benefits from the vinegar and peppers outweigh the sodium situation!? Do they make a low sodium hot sauce!? Does it depend on how much I use!?

Thanks for any help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
nut butter isn't bad in moderation!. I would however strongly recommend switching to the unsweetened!. If you are adding preserves, honey or maple syrup it will still be sweet!. Even better try a less oily nut butter like almond, cashew or macademia!.

Preserves aren't the greatest because they have so much sugar, but if that's your 'sweet escape' thing it's fine!. try maple syrup though!. it's natural with unrefined sugar!. better on your system!.

hot sauce is also fine!. Just remember to watch the sodium levels in other things you eat to allow for it!.

I'm not very educated on Splenda, other then I know it's made of sugar, with the carbohydrate somehow removed!. I wouldn't binge on it, but if trying to lose weight you'll definitely have better results with that as opposed to real sugar!. Cutting calories is always hard and it seems there is always a catch 22 when substituting your favorite tastes for something created for dieting!.

If you eat more Essential Fatty Acids (found in seeds and nuts), your cravings for sweets and unnecessary carbs will decrease!. I would recommend taking a table spoon of hemp or flax seed oil everyday!. It really takes away the sweet tooth and has a ton of other benefits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
