Nervous Eater?!


Question: Nervous Eater!?
I am what I would call a nervous eater!. Whenever I am stressed out about something or if I simply have nothing to do, I seem to eat!. Some people smoke, others drink, I eat!. Has anyone ever heard of this and is there a way to break out of this cycle!? Thanks in advance for any help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah, when we masticate (chew) this helps us to relax, so when you are stressed you reach for food, this though is only very short term as it will relax you whilst you are eating but the stress will still be their when you have finished, try chewing gum occasionally instead!. You need to finding ways of reducing your stress levels as well, I have found exercise great for this, though it is not for everybody!. Maybe relaxing music, or getting regular massages etc!. Even if you can reduce the amount of time you spend in stressful situations, or when you are away from them, tell yourself you will not think or worry about them as much!. To summarise, try to enjoy yourself more, just relax, don't worry to much, don't take life to seriously, it may never happen, remember though keep on enjoying your food, try to keep it to set meal times and enjoy them more by not snacking in between )Www@Answer-Health@Com
