Creatine, Protein and supplements?
I have recently started working out again (about a month ago), and I was wondering what supplements are the best. I used to lift weigths, and my friends who took creatine and protein made greater gains they I did. A pharmacy near my house is going out of business, and all of their supplements are 40 - 60% off. I bought regular protein (19g) and creatine monohydrate (5g), Bally's brand. There so many brands and types, I would appreiciate if somebody could give me some advice. Thanks.

The stuff I use after working out (well, I'm a girl) is a whey protein shake. It's not too bad and it helps build up muscle mass. It is a supplement, so you should only take it 1-2 times a day either before, but pref. after a workout. Creatine is excellent too. I use a fruit punch dry powder mix (can't rem. who it's by), you mix w/ water and it helps build up muscle mass, replenish and rehydrate, and helps keep creatine levels going. You could give those a try too. I know from experience that they work good if you take them everyday!
