Question: Embarrassing question about BMs!!?
Why is it that every time I go away for the weekend or for a week-long holiday, my regular bowel movements completely STOP!! !.!.!. and it's not until I'm home for a few days that my "regularity" resumes!.
My diet does not change significantly on holidays!. I exercise more than I normally would, eat a little more fruit, less bread, drink more water!.
Why do I always come home with a backlog (so to speak)!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Vicki - I too have the same issue!.!.!. I call it "no away games"!.!.!. I simply don't go!. As soon as I set foot in my own house!.!. Within 15 min - "game on"!.!.!.

England is a small place so no need to travel far (long journey not causing my problem) but if i go from essex to sheffield I have the opposite problem !. Yet when I come home I then get constipated for a week or so !. I put it down to the water !. Essex is known to have the hardest water yet sheffields is soft !. I will let you draw your own conclusion !.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It might be something as simple as a difference in the magnesium content of the water you're drinking when away!.
Also, depending on how you travel, sitting for long periods in a car or plane can disrupt things!. I'm curious to see what others have to say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not sure at to why but I am old now and I remember the old folks saying this when I was young!. LOL I do know with myself--the bowels seem to have a routine and if that is broken--then there is a back-up!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
am suffering with the same prob too!. one time i went to a seminar for five days, i wasn't able toclear up my bowels too!. i drank plenty of orange juiceand water but it didn't help!. yea, we've the same dilemma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
