How can I lose my stomach without excessive cardio?!


Question: How can I lose my stomach without excessive cardio!?
I'm 17, 5,7 and 105pounds, I know I'm underweight but my stomach is so big! It''s not just bloating its flab :( I'm not allowed to do much cardio or running, I do do crunches and stomach exercises but it won't go! Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're definitely underweight!. That doesn't mean however that you have a low body-fat percentage!.
I'm 5'7 and at one point, many many years ago I weighed 110!. That was pretty skinny, but I was out of shape!. I began strength training and power yoga along with lots of healthy food, lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables!.

So here's what I would do!. Excessive cardio won't help you put on muscle so skip it!. I would aim at putting on muscle to balance out your body and you'll start to see some great results in your abs!.

Do a weight training session 3 days a week and do it as a circuit, no rest in between exercises!.
Take it slowly and don't push yourself too hard at least not for the first 4 weeks!. Stick with it for at least 3 months and you will definitely see some great results!.
Make sure you get enough protein in your diet as well!. You need more than the normal if you're weight training!.

All you need for the beginner is a stability ball and a couple of light dumbbells!.
Also the workouts target your entire body but is designed to build core stability!. That's the deep layer of the muscles that so many people neglect!.

God, I have a problem like this too!. And I wish I knew the answer!. I've been trying different things lately though!. Like, lower abdomen exercises because it targets the lower belly instead of crunches that just work the top of the stomach and will actually, most of the time, make the stomach appear more bulky!. I want plastic surgery!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
