It's working out (what it thinks) you need to consume in order to have a deficite of calories that would cause you to lose 3lbs in one week (my basic mental math says its wrong)!. Once you are at that weight, and continued deficit would mean you'd continue to lose weight!.
There is a problem with this approach, it's how do you sensibly up your calorific intake as soon as you hit your target weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Weight gain and loss is all about energy!. If energy in is less than energy out then you will lose weight, if they are equal then you will maintain your weight!.
The calculator is telling you that your body uses 2293 calories a day so if you eat 1133 calories a day you will create a deficit of 1160 calories a day!. Since 3500 calories equals 1 pound, you can expect to lose 1 pound every 3 days or so!.
When you reach your goal your body will burn a certain number of calories a day (my guess is that is would be somewhere around 2000) and if you eat that amount then you will neither gain or lose weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Correct, once you get down to 170, you wont need to keep that decreased calorie diet unless you are planning to lose more weight!. In order to maintain that 170 you will be allowed to eat 2293, but id keep up with exercise plans just in caseWww@Answer-Health@Com
