I need help to lose weight, I'm on the verge of losing hope....who can help?!
Question:
I need help to lose weight, I'm on the verge of losing hope....who can help?
I'm 5'4.5, weigh 235 ( according to MY scale ), and am a Primary Kidney Donor, so 90-100 lbs needs to be lost, within 9 mos. Or, doctor's can't do the surgery ( and my Mother's life is in jeopardy! ) I'm becoming more active, and watching what I eat, but there isn't a change in my weight, I lose 5 pounds, then I gain 10 pounds. I have a very bad back so I can't do any strainuous exercises thats' going to hurt me more....I'm running out of options on what to do, and I feel like I'm losing hope. I'm never going to be 145 or 150 ever again. *sigh!*
Answers:
you give me much inspiration because I am 145 now and people are yelling at me to lose weight because for my height I am still overweight.
What I have found is, a while ago, I started a paper route. It is great because everyday, you have to walk a lot or else you will get fired. There is no one awake at 3 in the morning when you deliver the paper. I noticed that for the first 2-3 months, I did not lose any weight and I began to get depressed, but I kept at it because I needed the money. Suddenly after the 3rd month, my body kicked into gear and I started to shed pounds. It takes a while some times for your body to get used to exercise and for your metabolism to shift. So KEEP AT IT and it takes a lot of work and patience, but after you keep working at it, you WILL see results. It is impossible for any body to never get used to a good exercise routine. You will do it.
