Diet Rumor??!

Question:

Diet Rumor??

Okay, I've heard this from several people, and am curious as to whether or not it is true. Say that you are on a diet, and you are losing weight at a healthy rate. Then say that you stop your diet (maybe while you go on vacation) and you begin to gain weight (5-10 pounds). If you resume your diet, will it be harder to lose the weight the second time, or should losing weight be just as easy if you follow the same diet as before? I have heard from several people that it is harder to lose the weight once you regain it, but I have a hard time believing that this rumor is true. Any comments? TIA!

Answers:

I'm with you, I have a hard time believing that.

It shouldn't be harder the second time, especially if you follow a similar plan that helped you lose in the first place.

Maybe its because you become tired of the same old diet and you skimp out on it a little the 2nd time around.

It's a myth I'm sure, just do what you think is right.
