How long should I warm up?!
Question:
How long should I warm up?
I go to the weight room every day ( don't worry I don't work the same muscles) and before I do the lifting I only run (at a quick pace) on the treadmill for 5 min. Is that long enough and are there any better warm up ideas? The weight room that I go to has pretty much everything so specific machines would be greatly appreciated.

Try some arm stretches where you raise your arm (bent at the elbow) overhead and push down on your elbow, and then the stretch where you cross your arm over your chest and push on your elbow.
Try some leg stretches before the light 5 min. run even.
I generally stretch from 3-5 minutes.
After you've stretched out, do the run to get the blood flowing and start lifting.
