Question:

I am 13 and would like to lose some weight?

i am 13 years old, 5 ft. 3in and 165 lbs.The doctor says i need to lose like 30 lbs to get into regular shape for someone my age and height.I was wondering if there are any ways to help me with this.I LOVE to eat and i am bored all the time so all i have to do is eat.i need help with this.PLEASE dont tell me to go outside becuz my neighborhood is scary and plus i HATE the outdoors =)

You don't need to go outside to lose weight (but it would make it easier...). But since safety is an issue, I would suggest doing exercises inside or at a gym. If you like dancing, buy a dance video or workout video (they're cheap off ebay) and use it every day. Or, buy DDR (a dance game) and I think it burns like 350 calories per hour (?) and it's really fun! Try eating between 1,200-1,500 calories a day. Write down what you eat and how many calories you consume daily. If possible, see a nutritionist or get a membership to a gym. Good Luck, you can do it!!
