Oh, here we go!. I assume you are meaning a tax over and above the huge taxes that we already pay in Britain!. Who will be paying the biggest premium!?!? Smokers, drug addicts, alchoholics,fat folk, poor unfortunates who have ended up with cancer!?!? That's just a small selection of those who you could single out!. I'm a smoker and have not visited my GP for over twenty years, do I get a rebate for that!?!?!? I also drink alchohol quite regularly and am fairly overweight!. Surely that then would end up taxing perfectly (or exceptionally in some cases) healthy athletes, most of whom are technically overweight because of the amount of muscle they have (muscle weighing more than fat)!. Your idea is critically flawed!.
I myself am overweight (not massively but a little bit) and I am perfectly healthy!. Maybe they should start introducing tax for people who don't reach a certain IQ because they aren't contributing as much to the country as the cleverer people in society!? Or maybe all the people with mental health problems as they use up a lot of resources, or people who have cancer or smoke a lot or drink!? Where would it end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
