Is cutting out all chocolate/sweets/biscuits a good idea?
I have recently had lots of high calorie binges and put on weight, i'm going on holiday in less than a month and figured if i cut out all chocolate, sweets, biscuits, ice cream etc and only sweet treat being fruit lose weight? Will this help?

It's always a good idea to at least cut back... especially if you have been, as you described, "on a binge". One bite of chocolate always makes me want another, and another, and another...
I have a trick that make help. If you want something sweet, grab something that comes in pieces (starburst, m'n'm's, skittles) and eat a few... then share with a friend! Or your kids! You had something sweet, and there's none left to tempt you further.
Concentrate on being healthy and making good choices for this next month. Then go on your holiday and REALLY enjoy something! Don't settle for a candy bar when you can get a fabulous dessert on vacation! You can do this... it is only ONE month!
