Question: Will a stepper decrease the size of my hips and butt or is it better for cardio !?

Personal trainer and step teacher here since 1999--

1!. Cardio
2!. Stepper IS a great form of cardio
3!. The only thing that will decrease the size of your butt and thighs is to start with getting rid of ANY sugar in your diet for at least 3 weeks----Watch your carb intake!.
4!. Sugar means no sugar in coffee=no soda (diet if you need to) no cakes, candies, fruit, fruit juice, tomatoes, bananas etc---Just meat (chicken or fish) vegetables and a little carbs

Heres what I have been eating and lost all my tummy fat

protein bar (low or no sugar)
Coffee (little cream) no sugar I use an equal

Chicken Ceasar salad
Water or some kind of diet drink

Chicken piece of fish or scrambled eggs
Peas and a little rice
half a protein bar
Sugar free drink or water

Hydroxycut (no ephedrine in it)
and a water pill like midol

Try this for 3 weeks Kind of sucks and not healthy for more than a few months (at all) but WORKS!
You can eat broccoli if you want with nothing on it!. lol but thats it to the addition!. A banana every other day wont kill but THATS it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In general, a stepper is better for cardio but if used along with other aerobic excercise and a healthy diet it can help achieve the desired effect!. (i!.e!. you slimming your hips and butt)

Another thing you can do is lie on your back with your knees bent, and lift your hips and butt into the air until they are aligned with both your knees and shoulders!. Hold this position for 10-30 seconds and release!. Do 3 sets of 3 daily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sorry i dont know the answer to your question but i have the same problem!.

I dont necessarily want me butt to get too much smaller, just more toned!.
What i usually do is the elliptical for about 40-50 minutes and i have noticed that my love handles are decreasing :)

So thats what i do, i dont know if its best though!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends how long you work out!. Shoot for 30 minutes a day a minimum of 3x a week!. It can help with both!. 2 other important steps are getting eight hours of sleep and cutting down on the fats and bad carbs in your diet!. Water is good!. Juices and fruits also have water so don't by the BS about 8 glasses of water a day!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its better for cardio!.!.!.but it would definatly tone both!.!.!.!. really its hard to spot reduce in your hipsand butt( if you feel they are too big) trust me i have tried!.!.!. if you really want to decrease your hips i would suggest going on a nutrional diet just like good food, fruits, veggies, and not bad stuff like micky ds!.!. and just doing cardio and other excersises like crunchs on the side !.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cardio!.!.it will difinitly make your butt muscular!. Walking and jogging will make your butt and thighs smaller!.!.or treadmill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
