Why does it seem like I lose less weight when I run regularly?!


Question: Why does it seem like I lose less weight when I run regularly!?
I've tried running and strength training together in the past, but without very good results!. Lately, however, I've just been strength training, walking occasionally, and watching my carb intake (because I'm diabetic), and I've been losing a significant amount of belly fat!.

Could it be that when I run I let myself eat more!? Or what's going on!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think you are now burnning more that you are consuming which is good along with watchin what you eat!. I am not sure if you did this before, watch your food intake, thats a big difference!. when running consistantly you should loose fat, providing that you are eating properly; at the same time be toned!. some runners gain but thats a eating issue and type of work out, many factors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be and it could also be because your body has gotten used to running, therefore you won't see any results!. It is more likely the last thing mentioned!. When you workout you always need to progress the workouts because if you don't your body will get used to it after a while and won't be stressed enough to be able to lose the excessive fat, you are trying to get rid of!. So if you run one day make sure the next time you run a bit faster or a bit longer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep in mind that weight is just a number!. If you are exercising regularly, you are maintaining and likely building on lean body (muscle) mass!. Muscle weighs more than fat!. It is very possible that you are losing fat mass, building muscle mass-and not really seeing any number changes on the scale!. Don't get discouraged-pay more attention to how you feel and how your clothes fit than the number on the scale!. It's just a number!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

in my experience, it depends on when youre consuming the majority of your calories!. if you are eating and drinking carbohydrates before your workout, you will see more significant results in your cardio performance (more endurance)!. however, if you eat / drink afterward, your lifting weights will yeild more impressive results (repairing / building muscle)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is probably on account of ur diabetes!.

Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice (% times in ur case) a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!. Do not go on fast or starvation diet!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you run you gain muscle which is more dense than fat!. you lose less weight but more fat which in the end gives you a better appearance than just losing fat!. but don't over do itWww@Answer-Health@Com
