Question: A goal I need to achieve!!!!!?
Alright, so basically I'm getting back into basketball, and I want to dunk!. Right now I'm 5'5, and I am probably about 2-3 inches away from touching the rim (High School hoop), which means about 4-5 inches away from dunking!. As you can tell, I don't have TREMENDOUS hops, but I can get up there pretty high!. Besides getting taller, how can I increase my jumping ability!? What muscle group should I work!? Just my calfs!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As some of the others mentioned, do squats and lunges and that kind of thing!. Also do squat jumps, or squat jumps with barbells in your hands!.

ok do crunches, squats deadwieght, work out with your abs and yes calves!. I did this for volley ball i could jump 96" now i can jump 100" =) good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
