Is there a way to quit smoking and stay the same weight?!


Question: Is there a way to quit smoking and stay the same weight!?
I am trying to stop smoking and have gone from a pack a day to one to two cigarettes a day!. Even though im proud of getting this far, i dont want to gain a bunch of weight!. I eat healthy but since im getting rid of an appetite suppresser (the cigarettes) im afraid i might gain a bunch of weight!. Is their any other appetite suppressors/matobolism boosters out there!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thats a hard on there hon!. I quit almost 4 years ago, and did gain some weight initially!. The key is, when you get bored, find something to do rather than to eat!. Make sure you always keep yourself occupied!. Buy a bunch of sugar free gum!.!. that helps for sure!.

I know when I quit, I did it in little steps!. I quit smoking what wasn't 'necessary'!. Like, smoking out of boredom!. Then I made myself quit smoking as I woke up in the morning, or right before bed!. Hardest one to quit for me was after a meal!. What I made myself do there was that I got up after eatting, put up my dishes or whatever, and went straight to brush my teeth (breakfast or dinner anyhow) and for stuff like lunch, when I was out, I always made sure I had gum with me!.

Just find little things that will help you stay occupied along the way, and it'll just get easier in time once you quit!. Just watch your 'bored' eatting!. Don't let yourself give in!. :) Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you quit smoking it kind of invigorates your taste buds and food taste alot better!. The only way that I know to keep your wieght the same is to work out more in resistance training and aerobically!. Or ;you could not eat as much!. Also, you could try choosing a diet pill and see how that works!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chew lots of sugarless gum and exercise to burn at least as many calories as you take in!. Quitting is hard so also get someone who will help you through the rough spots by not letting you rationalize your way back to smoking!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nicotine increase metabolism so if u Stop smoking u will gain weight, the only thing u can do is exercise and eat less thats all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

all you can do is not eat so much even though i am working on it its really hard especially when food becomes your best friendWww@Answer-Health@Com
