Which is the best diet?
I am not looking for a quick fix with some bizarre recipe.
I excercise daily and I plan on starting a new diet soon.
I want a diet I can stick to that will work for years.
I want something healthy and managable.
Answers:
Calories in calories out. Basic. Since you're working out hopefully are doing cardio and weight or strength training too. Diet is 85% of the whole equation. I lost 70 pounds eating 60% carbs but I counted every calorie and weighed my food. I was very anal when it came to that. I tried exercising only and didn't lose anything. So back to writing down what I eat. For me I do 3 days at 1200-1300 calories a day and one day at 1700 to throw my body off. Worked for me. I also eat 4-5 times a day to keep my metabolism cranking. Weight watchers would probably be the best if you were looking for a commercial plan. But the others give you boxed foods or weird diets something that is not every day society. Learn to work the calories and you'll be fine.
