Question: Why do people make fun of overweight people!?
Seriously, what do you gain by making fun of people!?
My friend ashely and i went to the movies and there were about 4 teenagers two rows above us who were taking pictures of her as she was trying to sit down in the chair!.
Do you feel superior!?
Is it something you do just to pass time!?
She is so sweet! She didn't deserve that!
And no she doesn't make fun of skinny people!.
She doesn't make fun of ANYONE!
But yet all she does in life is diet diet diet! She has already lost 24 pounds, but you guys keep putting her down,when she is trying her best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because that's just the way the world is: people make fun of unattractive people!. No, it's not nice, but that's how it is!. People's justification is usually that fat people are that way because they choose not to eat right and exercise, and that's true for some, but there are a lot of naturally overweight people that I do feel kinda sorry for and would never make fun of!. Well, at least to their face, I wouldn't do that to anyone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I know how she feels, and I've developed an eating disorder from the teasing!. I think people do it because its not what they won't in life or they think their better than people like that!. They don't understand that people have FEELINGS and under that so called "fat" there is a true person underneath it all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Some people do it when they feel bad about themselves and when they see people happy they ahve to put them down to there level!. maybe they will grow up one day and realise what they did was wrong!. im sure your freinds very nice tell her not to listen to them and carry on dieting but not to a weight people tell her to a weight she feels comfortable at!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Aw I've seen that stuff in school and it pisses me off alot too!.
It's sad, yet at the same time theres not much that can be done!. Unless they really want to lose that weight, because in truth living overweight is really unhealthy, and!.!. sometimes!. (as mean as it might sound) unsanitary!. So blunt people just decide to pick at it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I guess its one form of discrimination!. I am fat and my mom says no girl will ever want me!. I will never get a job because I am fat!. I have to be muscular for anyone to accept me!. That really pisses me off!. I don't make fun of skinny people or fat people!. I guess those douche bags either have no damn lives of their own or are really there to kill her self esteem!. If she is as sweet and kind as you say, she really doesn't deserve that kind of treatment!. I would say, screw them and find some REAL friends who will accept you for who you are!. That is what I did when no one accepted me in elementary school and Junior high!. Well, I had to wait till high school for new friends because it was a small private school!. I agree! So many people make fun of others about their physical appearance!. I think they do this because it makes them feel better!. Isn't that sad how low some people can be!? People nowadays are so focused on their physical appearance rather than seeing inner beauty!. A lot of this negative effect is because of the media!. Everyday they have something to say about a celebrity who is "fat" or anorexic!. This alters some peoples minds into looking on appearance more than we should!. Can we not see that this is hurting people!?!?!?!? Everyday there are several women who have so low self esteem(probably because someone said a negative word spoken to her) and now she might be starving her self!. So everyone, stop being mean to people that don't have a "perfect" body type!. There is a difference between trying to help some one with their weight problems and being mean to them!.
