Fruit parfes from Mc Donalds.... Are they bad for me?!


Question: Fruit parfes from Mc Donalds!.!.!.!. Are they bad for me!?
I just love them!. I eat a side salad with low fat ranch dressing which is only 170 calories and the fruit parfe is around 150-180 calories!.

I also like eating one for a snack!.

They are definitely better than alternatives you could be eating!. The worst thing about them appears to be the high sugar content!. They do offer a gram of fiber and some nutrients, though, unlike a lot of McDonalds food!. I wouldn't eat them daily, but they're not too bad! ^_^

Yogurt is very good for you, as are are blueberries - both have been cited to help prevent aging and cancer!. I'd recommend abandoning the granola and perhaps toping it with nuts if you need a topping -- although nuts are calorie dense, they offer GOOD fats (poly and mono) which unclog your arteries, and are a nice source of needed protein!. Granola is practically sugary junk, honestly!.

Whta do you mean ONLY 170 calories!?

Thats a lot for ranch and it depends how much ranch you put on your salad if you put more than the serving labled on the nutrition facts then you can end up cosuming over 340 calories with just ranch alone!.

The serving is usually 1-2tsp and I am sure you put more than that on your salad!.

Try eating your salad with herbs and spices like vinegar/apple cider vinegar/red whine vinegar, salt, pepper and lemon!.

Thats 0 calories!

The fruit is fine because your actually eating food not just liquid like the ranch!.

170 calories is easily a snack!.

I say skip the ranch!

If you want to eat the ranch then go ahead just remember that that is 170 calories added to your meal!.

I can't understand why they would be bad for you - fruit, yogurt and granola!. Hmmm!.!.!.maybe it's because I get them all of the time myself!. I get them instead of fries!.

No there not yogurt is very good for you and so is fruit and if you put nuts on them that's even better cause they are good for you as well it helps with a lot of your body parts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are worse things you could eat!. The parfait has calories, carbs and sugar!. If you leave off the granola you save yourself from some of the calories and carbs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
