Should you work out when you are sore from a previous workout?!

Question: Should you work out when you are sore from a previous workout!?
I havent ran in!.!.!.about a year!.!.!.except when the pizza man rings the doorbell, I run to get it!. Yesterday I decieded I would go run a mile on the treadmill!. So of course today my legs are really sore!.

I heard it both ways, one that if I run again today I will get in better shape and get stronger legs and two that if I force myself to run today I will be doing more damage then good!.

So which way is it!? Should I wait till I am 100% not sore to run again!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's a better idea to wait for the soreness to go away! When you haven't worked out for a long time lactic acid builds up in your muscles and makes them sore!. The best thing to do is stretch, use a heating pad, and take hot baths to get some of the lactic acid to dissipate!.

In the future, try to start out a little less intense!. If your legs are as sore as i am thinking they are then you worked out too intense! There is no hurry it should be a lifestyle so start slow and build!. Change your workouts and the types of activities you do to keep your motivation!. Good luck and train smart!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go even if i was sore but i would work on another part of my body!.!.!. i would divide my workout to upper body and lower body!. so one day i would work on for example my legs and the next day my arms but the day after that I would be less sore on my legs and could work out better on themWww@Answer-Health@Com

not unless it's extremely horrible, which it shouldn't be!.

if it's sore then run more to get used to it :]
but start of slow and stretch, or else you might get actually hurtWww@Answer-Health@Com
