Can I survive off of eating only (or mostly) fruits and veggies all the time??!


Question: Can I survive off of eating only (or mostly) fruits and veggies all the time!?!?
i mean, inclucing taking vitamins to make sure i'm getting all the nutrients i need!. i know it would be difficult to eat this way, but would it still be unhealthy even if i'm taking vitamins!?
i'm already a vegetarian (over a year now)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Vitamins are by far not the only concern with eating only fruit and vegetables!.

You will need to include different kinds of beans in order to get proteins!. Essential amino acids (that your body derives from ingesting proteins) are not produced in your body!. It is unhealthy to have your body deprived of essential amino acids!. There is a number of essential amino acids!. All of them can be derived from animal protein!. Every plant source usually contans some of them but not all of them!. So you will have to carefully plan what you're eating!. It can be done purely on a vegetarian diet, but it takes some research!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually, you won't get all the nutrients you need from what you describe!. There several essential amino acids that you can't get without eating some kind of meat!.!.!.or cheese or eggs!. As long as you eat some cheese or eggs, though, you'd be fine!. Not sure how much you need, though, but some is better than none!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
