Question:

Do you think the media influences younger children to foucs to much on their body?

On yahoo answers, 11 and 12 yr olds asking how to get a 6 pack more and more often now. Do you think the media plays a role in this?

Answers:

The media does way too much to entice young children. Children see people on TV, in music videos, and movies that aren't good role models, but they don't realize it until they are in trouble, or end up dead.

Children see attractive people and say, "I want to look like that." What they don't know is why they don't look that skinny or that toned up. The media should show stories of children who have failed in their mission of perfection. If children see this, they may realize that they like themselves for who they are and don't listen to wha people say.
