HELP! I need to know what I should pick up...suggestions.

Look for low fat versions of what you might usually buy, such as milk and other dairy products. Same with ground beef. Look for the packages with 4% or less fat. Eat leaner meats. Replace some of your beef intake with chicken. When you get home, peel the chicken skin before you put it away in the fridge. If you don't see it when you cook, you won't miss it. Replace your sugary snacks with crunchies such as carrots and celery. If you are a very big fan of salty potato chips, pick up a bag of pretzels, instead. Load up on fresh fruits and veggies. Don't buy fruit juices. They are concentrated sugar, not a lot better than eating candy. Eat the fruit instead. At least you can get the benefit of the fiber. Speaking of fiber, pick up whole grain breads and crackers. If you don't like drinking your tap water, pick up some cases of bottled water. Drink plenty of this. Keeps your belly full, and helps in your digestion and aids in cleaning out your innards.
