Is it normal to hobble around like an old woman three days after an intense work!


Question:

Is it normal to hobble around like an old woman three days after an intense workout?

I did circuit training on Tuesday but I am still in pain three days later.
I did the warm up exercises and the stretches at the end of the workout so I can't think why I am still in pain.

Yes its normal,especially if you have excessively worked muscles that you do not usually use.

From what i know of Circuit Training, you would have put your muscles through it!

On average it will take around a week for your muscles to recover.

If you stick at it and go again (if you dare) it should get easier and easier each time, until you hardly have any muscle pain afterwards.

Hope you feel better soon.

By the way, its good that you did do the warm up and warm down exercises - imagine how you would be now if you didn't!
