Question: I am very obese >!.<!?
i am 17 yrs old and currently 5' 11" i weigh a wopping 323lbs(fat huh!?) well i have decided that my life is crap and i want to change it but have no clue where to start i have quit drinking pop and im gonna quit eating fast food!.!.!. i was thinking of eating small(extremely small but not too small to where my body thinks i am starving myself) and walking about 45 minutes a day at a very quick pace!.!.!.!. should i do this or is their a better way!? my friend done this exact same thing and lost 147lbs in 7 months!.!.!. and he kept it off but i dont think im as mentally tough as he isWww@Answer-Health@Com

Good for you!!! I am also working on losing weight(5'4" and 185) I think you are doing fine!! you dont have to eat extremely little amounts!. eat a big breakfast, small lunch, medium dinner!. You will do fine!!! I lost about 8 pounds so far!. I think you would be fine at around 190-200 pounds!.
You dont have to just walk!. That can get boring!. Do something else for excercise too!. Bike, swim, or even skateboard!.(i started skateboarding two weeks ago!. it was hard at first, but it is worth it!. i would deffinately recomend skateboarding)

Well if you dont think you're mentally tough, you can start out small like you've currently been doing(cutting out soda) Limit your sugar/junk food intake gradually!. If you cut it off abruptly you will be inclined to break your diet and go straight back to it!. Look for some healthy recipes!. Excercise is good!. Try excercising while you're watching tv or while doing something else so you arent bored!.*dotn take the elevator take stairs if you can so you can get the most excercise out of your day) And also stay clear from diet pills, they tend to add complications to your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well I think your eating habits are the first thing that you need to change!. Do not change drastically!. Just cut out most of the junk food you eat, and you will see change!. You should be able to eat plenty of food if you exercize!. I am in the Army, and I have seen how important exercize is!. If you are not ready to run then walk, but I suggest running!. Run as far as you can, and then finish walking 'till you reach a distance of one mile!. The most important thing is to remember that you want this!. Stay motivated and change will come!. Start by eating your biggest meal in the morning and next biggest at noon and no meal or a small meal for your evening meal!. You will feel better all day that way and it will encourage the body to not store your food energy in fat!. 90% of overweight people eat no breakfast!. Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!. Do not go on fast or starvation diet!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

I,M NOT MENTLY TOUGH WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD I,M OVER WEIGHT AND SO FAR I,V LOST 2 STONE BY GOING TO THE GYM AND SWIMMING I DO 2 HOURS A DAY AN HOUR OF EACH I EAT PORRIDGE FOR BREAKFAST OR 2 WHEATABIX SNACK I HAVE FRUIT OR NUTS UN SALTED DINNER I HAVE JACKET POTATOE WITH TUNA OR SALAD FOR TEA I MAKE PASTA OR STEAMED VEG WITH CHICKEN AND EVERY NOW AGAIN I EAT WHAT I WANT IN A DAY IT STOPS MY SELF FROM THINKING I,M DEPRIVING MY SELF FROM WHAT I LIKE BUT NEVER GO BACK TO POP DRINK LOTS OF WATER AND IF YOUR HUNGRY ON A NGHT EAT FRUIT IF YOU HAVE SWEET TOOTH LIKE MEWww@Answer-Health@Com
