I have alot of questions about Weight Watchers. Best answer points! =D?!

Question: I have alot of questions about Weight Watchers!. Best answer points! =D!?
Okay!. I have started a WW plan on my own by finding out how many points I get a day (28), and using some free resources I found online!. I have been keeping a daily food log via sparkpeople!.com!. I plan on using the actual WW online program soon, but right now it's too much of a financial hardship!. I'm hoping maybe some of you who are/have been on the plan can help me!. As of today, I've been on the program 1 week and found out I only lost 1 pound, to my disappointment!. I have NOT cheated on the program, been very good about keeping w/in my points range, drinking at least 8 cups of water a day, and eating alot of fruits and veggies!. Is 1 pound a week typical weight loss for WW!? I don't quite understand the points system either !.!.!. I mean if I have two options for lunch:

1 - Lean Cusisine Salisbury Steak (6 points)
2 - Two crunchy tacos fresco style at taco bell (6 points - 3 points each)

Which is better!? I know they both have the same amount of points, but is it still better to go w/ the lean cuisine!? If not, by that logic, couldn't you just eat NINE tacos throughout the day and still be within your points!? That doesn't seem very healthy!. :)

Any advice anyone has on this, or any tips, etc would be GREATLY appreciated!. The lack of weight loss has already got me down, and although I don't plan on giving up, I'd like some positive reinforcement!. :)

Thank you all so much!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been in weight watchers since January and I tend to have some questions as well!. As far as I know, as long as you are eating your daily amount of vegetables, dairy, oils, and water then you should be able to eat whatever kinds of food you'd like!. I wouldn't really suggest eating something such as tacos everyday though because they're not providing you with the correct nutrition!.

As for the weight loss, I go to a weight watchers meeting once a week and my teacher has told me that it's not healthy for your body to lose more than 2 pounds a week!. So a pound or so a week sounds about healthy!. When I started weight watchers I think I lost like 4 or 5 pounds the first week!.

Just make sure that you're getting enough exercise as well!. When you sign up at a weight watchers meeting they give you a converter chart that shows that working out at different intensity levels gives you points to add to your daily allotment!.

Honestly, I don't think I would be losing any weight if I didn't go to the meetings on a weekly basis!. Although it is expensive (and my mother pays for it, lol, I'm 20), they provide you with encouragement, recipes, and tips for eating right!. Also, it gives you an opportunity to be weighed every week!. Each week you get the opportunity to announce to the class how many pounds you've lost that week!. When everyone claps for you it makes you feel really proud of yourself!

Also, some of the group members have mentioned that if a week or so passes and you're disappointed that you haven't lost any weight!.!.!.You might be losing inches! Which is always something to be excited about!!

Good luck w/weight watchers!! I've lost 35 pounds so far and I think I have another 30 or so I want to lose!.!.!.Darn baby weight! LOL!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have done WW for about 2 years now!. Do not become discouraged at the amount you lose per week!. Keep going until you are happy with yourself!. I was a 16, and only wanted to be a 12 again!. They wanted me to lose about 40 lbs!. and be a size 7!. NO WAY!. That is not for me!. I am comfortable where I am!. It takes a while, so take your time, slow, day by day!. And you will cheat!. Just go back to the routine, don't over do it!. Soon enough, it will become a habit of eating healty and you will push everything else to the side!. I don't want to look sick and thin, so you choose what you want and be happy doing it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
