Do you absorb calories from foods that pass through you looking undigested?!

Question:

Do you absorb calories from foods that pass through you looking undigested?

Vegetables, corn, broccolli....

Answers:

yes... those food contain carbs and nutrients plus a lot of fiber.

So the carbs and nutrients are absorbed and the fiber passes through "undigested".

Also, do you chew your food thoroughly?
The more you chew the more you break down the veggies, hence higher absorption. If you don't, it's harder for the body to digest hence the undigested look.

For example, corn. When you eat corn, the stuff inside of the kernel is digested, but the outside skin of the kernel is undigestible so it looks the same going in and coming out.
