How can I force myself to lift/run?!


Question: How can I force myself to lift/run!?
I have a really bad habit of starting an exercise routine, only to have it end a few days later!. I just can't seem to remember to lift or I remember at a really bad time!. Same with running!. I just can't seem to motivate myself to do it every day!. I'm not completely out of shape (I can run about 1 mile and bench around 130) but I want to get in better shape for when I go off to college!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no real way to force yourself to do these things because if you dont enjoy it your going to reject doing it!. What you need to do is find a reason for why you're excercising, and not just say "i want to lose weight" or something like that!. Im in the same boat as you are in the fact that I can run about a mile straight but usually when i start my routine after a couple weeks I get discouraged or just burnt out!. But recently I found my reason with a certain someone!. I said to myself I wanted to look good for her and now I'm in the best shape of my life!. Now your reasoning doesnt have to be a girl but find something that will motivate "you" no one on here can tell you what that is b/c it depends on who you are!. I have the same problem, you either need a trainer (who you pay to kick you into working out) or if that isn't feasible because its way expensive then you need a friend or family member to be your alarm clock telling you every other day to get up and go run, lift or get to the gym!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat well but only when hungry and not more than thrice a day!. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%!. To have more satisfaction out of ur food, Chew each morsel at least 32 times!. This will also activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness!. Obey these signals!. Do not go on fast or starvation diet!.

Nothing other than water in between!.

No special diet, call it by any name or program helps as one cannot adopt them on permanent basis!. Diet pills are chemicals and per se bad and shud be avoided unless the doc considers it necessary looking at ur condition!.

Take light exercises and brisk walks for 30 min!.regularly preferably on empty stomach and twice a day!.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time and hassle free!.

Be patient and not in a hurry!.

U cannot choose spots for reduction!.

This schedule can be adopted on permanent basis to lead a healthy life and maintain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Looks like you will have to make it part of your daily routine!. If you are working and drive to work, try taking the bus 2-3 times a week - run to a bus station about 1 mile away and you will get 2 miles running each bus commute!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
