Question: Please help with my weight loss!?
Hi, I would really appriciate someone who can tell me if what I am doing is right or not!.!.!.maybe a professional!?!?
My weight is 204 pounds
My height is 5'4
I am 23 years old
I am considered obses by medical charts, so I am trying to lose weight!.
I have been tracking my calories that I intake it averages out to be about 1800!.
I have been going on the elliptical for about 30 minutes and burning about 300 calories, I go at a speed about 7!.0
I go on the elliptical about 3 to 4 times per week, hoping to increase that to everyday!.!.!.I do get busy with school and work though!.
I have been counting calories and exercising for about 23 days now!.
I weighted myself the other day, and I have not lost any weight!.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong!?
Do I need to cut more calories!?
I read to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you eat!.
I also read that you burn about 10 calories per pound!.
I weigh 200 pounds, so I burn about 2,000 calories!. Please help, thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get a heart monitor!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.when ur exercising make sure ur heart rate stays in the fat buring area which is determined by ur age and ur maximum heart rate!. just find a web site that will show u how to calculate this!. Also when u exercise vary its intensity!.!.!.like for example 1 minute low intensity!.!.!.!.then next minute higher and then again next minute higher then go back to low intensity and do the cycle again!.!.!.!.!.!. I guess read lots of articles and educate ur self on fat loss!. try this web site bodybuilding!.com!.it will give u plenty of advice!.!.!.just read some of the articles!. If you want to lose weight and keep it off forever - walk or jog - 5 miles a day, six days a week, and NOT on a treadmill!. There's something about your feet hitting the pavement that jars the fat out of you!. This also adds strength and density to your bones that'll help as you get older!.

thats good that your counting calories but take into consideration foods that are whole take more energy to digest,aka whole wheat oppose to just plain white bread!.bascially you have to increase your metabolism either by gaining more muscles,exercising,and eating smaller frequent meals so your body thinks you have food all the time and thinks everything is well and uses it up with no worries!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is not only what you eat, is also when you eat it!.
The secret to lose weight is having the calories in small amounts!. so you end up eating like 6 times a day, and after 6 p!.m!. you shouldn't really eat anything, drink as much water as is posible, and try avoiding staying awake late at night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try keeping the cal intake the same but breaking it up over 5-6times perday, not eating later than 7pm and earlier than 5am!.
keep going to the gym and start a sport, that way you ll have fun loosing the weight as well as the gym (which no one like to go too!) and be strong!.!.!.!.keep going!
