What are some good foods to eat if I am on a 1200-1550 calorie diet a day? Please help!!!?

I do not eat TOFU!!

Based on this diet plan , you should be aiming to eat five meals of 250-300 cals per meal. This way you are never really hungry throughout one part of the day. You should also invest in a multivitamin with any low-cal diet.

There are some protein bars out there that taste good and are low in cals/high in protein.

Any type of cereal bar like Nutri-Grain or a Wal-Mart brand. Usually 150 cals per bar and contains vitamins and minerals.

Cereal low in sugars. Usually 200 calories with milk.

Alfredo pasta. Usually 300 calories with plenty of complex carbs.

Pink salmon. Low in cals, high in protein.

1/2 peanut butter sandwich with 1 tablespoon peanut butter. Around 150-200 cals depending on bread. Try to buy whole-wheat breads.

Yogurt. 100-200 cals per container. Taste great and are nutritious.

Banana. 100 calories. Or chop the banana to put in a cereal.

Grilled cheese. About 200 calories.

Sorry, not much of a cook but I figured mostly non-cooking foods would be good to list for you.
