Will i lose weight by running?!


Question: Will i lose weight by running!?
I am 5'5" and weigh 148 pounds!. I am serious about losing weight!. I have lost 20 lbs working 40-45minutes 4-5 times a week!. I wanted to pump up my routine and have recently begun running!. I run 3 miles 3-4 times a week!. Will this make me lose weight!? Any ideas/suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. dont bank on the words 'fast','easy','simple' & 'quick'!.!.!.!.to stay safe,you shoudnt lose beyond 4 pounds of fat per week

2!. start brisk walking 40-60mins a day!.!.!.get a dog or 2 if you find your walking routine boring!.!.or if you are at a gym,experiment all forms of
cardio available and stick to all that you like

3!. drink only water,100% natural/fresh fruit/veggie juices,lowfat milk and lots of green tea

4!. severely limit carbs n fat but eat lean proteins and veggies very well!.!.make sure you eat a good breakfast!foods generally that aid fat loss-
fruits,oatmeal,milk,raw nuts,fish,beans,veggies, small chunks of dark chocolate and herbal teas!.

5!. do lots of pilates/yoga/strength training to get the best from your cardio

6!. be smart when eating out or at events/functions(such as preparing your own meal & eating in advance)

7!. dont trust myths like "no food after 7pm"!.!.!.you have to stay nourished to lose fat,!.!.the best you can do if you are scared to eat is perhaps
drink a glass of ice chocolate lowfat milk mixed with a tsp of instant softened oatmeal!.!.!.

Based on the fact that you've already lost 20lbs I'd say yes because your calorie intake must be less than what you burn off!. exercising!.

I have 2 suggestions: 1) increase your total running time to an hour each time, and 2) run 6 days a week!.

To do this, I'd suggest you first add 1 additional day of running each month until you reach 6 days per week running!. So in ~3 weeks you could be running 6 days per week safely!. Then, gradually, increase your running time!. On Day 1 each week, increase your run time to a full hour!. No matter how slow you go, just continue for a full hour!. Do this 1 day at a time for a full month, then increase by 1 day each month until you are running an hour 6 days each week!.

you will most likely gain weight in the beginning and probably make you get agrevated bc your working so hard, but when you first start your going to be gaining muscle, muscle weighs more than fat, so after a while you start to lose weight, but youll see the difference in the mirror more than on the scale!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm a runner myself!. I've lost a lot of weight but the one thing that stalls weight loss for me is what I eat, I still have to keep on a diet and make sure I'm burning more calories than I'm taken in!. If you keep to that you'll lose weight no time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont know!. multiply your body weight by twelve thats how much your body naturally burns in a day in calories running for an hour burns 300 calories to lose a pound you need to burn 3500 calories maybe this will helpWww@Answer-Health@Com
