Answers:
You don't need anything besides your own body weight to get a good ab workout!. You need to have a low enough bodyfat percentage so your abs will show and then it's easy to get the definition!. Some people work them out everyday and you can since they're a small muscle group and in constant use but I find I get better results if I go every other day with at least 24 hours rest in between!. You don't want to work them out if they're still sore from the last session so they have time to recover and grow stronger!. Crunches work more of the top part of your abs and reverse crunches work more of the lower part which is tougher to improve in the beginning!. Try not to hit your obliques, from twisting excercises, too hard or it can give you a blockier look and make your waist look bigger!. Start off with crunches, reverse crunches, leg raises and an ab wheel (cheap, you can find one for 10 dollars or less) and when you get stronger you'll need to vary the program and I reccomend vacuums and eventually dragon flags!. To show off your abs, you need to burn off the layer of fat that is covering them!. To do this you need to go on a calorie restricted diet and do a lot of exercise including cardio and sit ups!. The layer of fat will not go away by simply doing sit ups and crunches!. If you already have a low body fat percentage than doing situps and crunches will help you!. Don't go crazy with them!. A lot of people go to the gym and fo hundreds of situps and crunches every day!. They treat their abs differently from every other muscle in the body!. Treat them the same as you would any other muscle and you will see improvements!.

You can use your own body weight for resistance training, or you can do yoga or pilates to develop a strong core, in turn creating great abs!. If money is an issue, there are plenty of exercise videos on Sparkpeople!.com, youtube!.com or that you can borrow from your local library to aid you in your quest for really nice abs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
